on “Legal Environment of Doing Business in EU (LEDBEU)” for the years 2022- 24. Due to globalisation and increased interest of Indians in doing business in the EU, which will in turn contribute to the EU economy, the need for EU studies in Indian Higher Education Institutes has become pertinent. The proper equipping of international students in EU studiesis quintessential to the growth of the EU Market and is a part of the vision of SLS Pune in promoting international understanding through Quality Legal Education. This course intends to establish a link between the theoretical and practical aspects of establishing and doing business in the EU by meeting
the needs of EU Common Market and students of EU studies. We are delighted to report the successful completion of deliverables of the project in the AY 2022-23. We are now set to begin with the new batch of students opting for Legal Environment of Doing Business in the EU (LEDBEU). In this regard, we are undertaking to conduct a 3- hour Online Roundtable Discussion to disseminate the outcomes of the course in 2022-23, to invite inputs from experts in EU Business Law in framing and revising the existing syllabus on LEDBEU and to provide training on the delivery of course content. This process will help ascertain that the programme will be in tune with the current legal developments in EU, innovative methods of learning and have wider dimensions with present and future issues of the Legal Environment of Doing Business in EU. The aim is to discuss the needs and gaps in the existing syllabus based on our experience in the previous year and to ensure that all relevant target groups will provide their input in developing a balanced educational programme on LEDBEU.
For FEBA the LEDBEUIH and this study is financed by the European Union-NextGenerationEU, through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan of the Republic of Bulgaria, project № BG-RRP-2.004-0008-C01.
